RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
At Glowette Studios, we want every order to arrive safely and as described. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- No longer wanting the item
- Ordering the wrong product
- Ordering the wrong colour, size, pack, or variant
- Finding the product cheaper elsewhere
- Not reading the product description before purchasing
- Delays outside of our control
- Entering the wrong shipping details
- Personal preference after receiving the item
Due to the nature of our products being beauty, hygiene, skincare, dental, facial, and personal-care items, we do not accept returns on opened, used, tested, or handled products unless required by New Zealand law.
Damaged Products on Arrival
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with clear proof.
To make a damaged item claim, you must provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the damaged product
- Clear photos of the outer packaging
- Clear photos of the shipping label
- Clear photos of any inner packaging
- A short explanation of the issue
A video of the package being opened is strongly recommended where possible.
Damage claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery so we can assess the issue properly. If packaging has been thrown away, the item has been used, or there is no clear proof of damage on arrival, we may not be able to approve the claim.
If your claim is approved, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the issue and your rights under New Zealand consumer law.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty item or the wrong item, please contact us with your order number and clear photos/videos of the issue.
We will assess each case fairly. If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, unsafe, or not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with New Zealand consumer law.
Hygiene & Personal-Care Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for opened or used personal-care products.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Skincare tools
- Facial tools
- Pimple or blackhead tools
- Nose strips
- Eyebrow razors
- Scalp massagers
- Dental-care products
- Water flossers
- Ice rollers
- Anti-aging tools
- Any product used on the face, mouth, skin, scalp, or body
Return Approval
Please do not send any item back without contacting us first. Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.
If a return is approved, the item must be returned in its original condition with all packaging, accessories, parts, and inserts included where possible.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs depend on the reason for the return. If the product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, we will advise the next steps.
For any return approved as a goodwill exception, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
